Moroccan Aker Fassi Pot
Two ingredients. Pomegranate rind and poppy petals sun-dried, stone-ground, pressed into a pot that has sat on Moroccan dressing tables for generations. Add water, swirl, apply. A sheer buildable flush for lips and cheeks that adapts to your skin tone and stays through the day. The oldest makeup ritual in Morocco, unchanged.

How to use
Begin on Damp Skin
Take an adequate amount. Apply to your damp face and neck.
Massage Slowly
Work in slow, circular movements for one to two minutes. Feel the warmth of the Argan.
Let it rest
Leave on for a few minutes, like a mask. This is not a scrub you rush. This is a moment you give yourself.
Rinse
Wash off with lukewarm water. What you are left with is Tahara. Use 2 to 3 times a week. Best results after 4 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you use Moroccan black soap?
Start in a warm shower so the skin softens. Scoop a small amount, work it into a paste on damp skin, and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes. Scrub in long strokes with a kessa glove and rinse. Used this way twice a week it is the first hammam step; used quickly, it is an everyday body wash.
Is Moroccan black soap the same as African black soap?
No. Moroccan black soap, or beldi, is a soft olive paste made from crushed olives and olive oil, used to soften the skin before exfoliation. African black soap is a bar made from plant ash and oils. Moromaa's beldi has no added fragrance or oils, just cured olives, the way it has always been made in Morocco.
Can I use beldi soap on my face?
Better not to make it a habit. Beldi is rich in olive content and made for body skin softened by steam; on the face it can feel heavy and, with a glove, too abrasive. Moromaa's face step is the Argan Nila Face Scrub instead. If you do use beldi on the face, skip the kessa and rinse well.
Do I need a kessa glove with beldi soap?
